Zachary Dennis, EA, MSEA
President, Chief Actuary
Zachary Dennis graduated with a degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013.
He is an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA and a Member of the American Society of Enrolled Actuaries (MSEA). He has served on the Society of Actuaries EA-2F Examination writer's committee since 2019 and will be serving as Vice-Chair of this committee during 2024 and 2025. Zachary has over 11 years of experience working with Defined Benefit and Cash Balance Plans for small companies.
Zachary has experience with many types of qualified plans but specializes in custom plan designs that maximize benefits to owners and shareholders while minimizing the overall employer costs.
Outside of work, Zachary likes to garden, hike, paddleboard, travel, and brew kombucha. He’s lived in Maryland, Texas, and Arizona but now calls Oregon home.
Joshua Dennis
Chief Financial Officer
Joshua Dennis served in the Marine Corps for 14 years before going on to pursue a career in finance. He has been working in the wealth management, commercial banking, and retirement plan industries for over a decade. Josh is currently working as both CFO and leading business development for the firm.
He has founded, run, and sold numerous companies and is an M&A expert with experience on both sides of the table.
When he's not at the office, Josh likes to race cars on the track, travel, try new coffee shops, and go on adventures with his family and dog; a German Shorthaired Pointer named Astrid.
Christina Yeager, ASA, EA, MAAA
Actuary
Christina Yeager joined Corvus in July 2024, bringing with her 28 years of experience within the pension actuarial industry. She is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and economics.
Working for large and mid-sized actuarial firms, Christy gathered a deep appreciation for traditional defined benefit and cash balance plans, and how they can be designed for small businesses. Christy also has specialized experience with QDROs and retiree medical valuations.
Christy resides in Maryland with her family. She enjoys reading, playing handbells and singing with her church, and playing board games with friends.
Jeremiah Gonzalez
Defined Benefit Administrator
Jeremiah Gonzalez is a graduate of the University of California - Riverside with a degree in Economics.
He founded and was the president of the Actuary Club at his alma mater. Jeremiah's passion led to the introduction of Actuarial Sciences as a major field of study at UCR following his graduation.
With over 3 years of experience in Plan Administration, Jeremiah has worked on a variety of retirement plans, including 401k, Cash Balance, and Defined Benefit Plans.
He is determined to learn from the best in the field in order to one day become an Enrolled Actuary.
Jeremiah currently resides in Los Angeles, where he enjoys mechanical work, savoring Mexican and American cuisine, and playing soccer and basketball. Most importantly he is dedicated to his church/community.
Nickolas Mateus
Defined Benefit Administrator
Nickolas Mateus graduated from Lake Forest College in 2018 with a major in Business and a minor in Entrepreneurship. He has over 5 years of retirement industry experience, focusing on Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plans for a variety of different companies; ranging from large corporations to plans designed specifically for small companies.
Nickolas enjoys the technical aspects of retirement work, as well as the "people side" of interacting with clients and building positive relationships. He strives to be an advocate for his clients by helping them to better understand their retirement plans and ensuring that they are in compliance with ERISA and other government regulations.
On a personal note, Nickolas is the proud dog parent of a vivacious Pembroke Welsh Corgi and enjoys taking his dog on long walks and exploring new places. He also likes to read, be active in the alternative music community (Ska-Punk being his favorite genre) and try out new recipes in the kitchen. Nickolas grew up in the Chicagoland area and currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin.
